Yoga for your Eyes
Saturday, February 27
10 am to 2 pm
$35

Due to the dramatic onset of computer use, the overall close-up work and a stressful lifestyle, many of us experience eyestrain and prematurely impaired vision.

Simple eye exercises, in conjunction with proper breathing and relaxation, help maintain a healthy vision, reduce or eliminate the effects of eyestrain and ultimately help to preserve eyesight.

In this four-hour workshop, you will practice simple and fun eye exercises, breathing, and learn how to physically and mentally relax with some easy stretches.

In addition, you will receive information on bad and good habits of using your eyes, on nutrition, and on other resources like books and websites.

Bring a blanket or a yoga mat, a cushion, water, and a snack.

To register for the workshop "Yoga for the Eyes" please call me at 575 - 543 - 8900 or write to yoga@developserenity.com.

Did you know that each October the Monarch butterflies make a trip of 2000 miles and migrate from the Northeast of the US and Canada to Mexico?
Here they are welcomed by the Mazahua people who regard the butterflies as the representatives of their ancestors' spirits.

Watch an intriguing program aired in January 2009 on PBS: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/butterflies/program.html
